The purpose of the website is to share my Japanese learning experience with people interested in the Japanese language or Japan in general. A couple of months ago I googled around in search for an organized and not too overwhelming website for learning Japanese, but didn't find many. That was when the idea struck me, why not make one myself while studying at the same time? I made the decision, so I'm now doing this website while I attend the 20 week basic Japanese course at Lund University. Throughout the course I will give you some general tips that I find useful about learning Japanese and write about what I do when I actually hit the Japanese textbook.
I'm a student at Lund University in Sweden studying mechanical engineering, BBA and Chinese. Japanese and this website is an inspiring side project I do to pursue my interests. My interest for Japan arouse a couple of years ago but not until lately I decided to seriously learn the language. The goal is to become good enough to use it in daily life when I go there (hopefully in the near future!).
