Test if you can read Japanese with your computer
If you see the same thing in the two boxes below then you can read Japanese properly with
your browser. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.

Install language support for Japanese
If you can't see Japanese characters with your web browser you maybe haven't installed
language support for East Asian languages yet. All you need is your Windows installation
CD. For Mac users, click
here.
Everything in the pictures below are in Swedish, but the layout should be the same as
in English Windows.

Open the Control Panel in Window by clicking on Start > Control Panel. Choose
"Date, Time, Language and Regional Options", see picture.

Choose "Regional and Language Option".

In the window that appears after step 2, click on the "Languages" tab.
Then make sure that there is a tick in the
"Install files for East Asian languages" box. If there isn't, make one.
Then click OK, put in the Windows installation CD if requested.

Now you should be able to see Japanese characters on the website!
